About Me

I am a freelance actor, director, facilitator, writer and producer. I have a Theatre Studies Degree from the University of Ulster.  I was the Manager of Bruiser Theatre Company for 12 years, leaving to go freelance at the end of 2013.  Since then I have been creating my own work in theatre; working with a number of Northern Ireland’s fantastic theatre companies and festivals; and facilitating arts projects in the education and healthcare sectors.  I am currently working on ‘My Father’s Chair’, a solo theatre piece for children all about Dads, in partnership with Young At Art.

First arts experience as a child:

My parents were both English teachers, as well as keen amateur actors and would regularly take me to the theatre when I was a child. The earliest show I can remember seeing was a fantastic production of ‘Hiawatha’!

Personal artwork/ performance you are most proud of:

I am most proud of my work playing Commander Constello in Replay Theatre Company’s ‘Closer’, a show for children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.
