Young at Art, Northern Ireland’s leading children’s arts organisation and producer of the annual Belfast Children’s Festival, wishes to find a Development Assistant to fill a vital business development support role within our organisation for the next 3 years.

Our new Development Assistant will develop a range of fundraising skills and gain valuable experience in events/project management as a key member of the team delivering our showcase annual international festival. You will work on trust and foundation grant applications and reporting, sponsorship and partnership development, and sales and audience development. As well as informal mentorship from YAA senior managers, we will secure one-to-one time with sector-leading professionals and devise with you a personalised training programme.

This post is a new entry-level offering from Young at Art and will be a full-time post for the next 3 years (2022 to 2025). Ideal starting date is Monday 27 June 2022. It is hoped that the post will continue beyond this date subject to successful fundraising.

Funding for this contract is from the Art Work Covid Recovery programme, an Employment and Skills initiative for the Arts Sector in Northern Ireland, supported by the Department for Communities. All our posts are offered subject to the availability of funding.
