Ar maidin Dé Máirt ó 10-12 tiocfaidh tuismitheoirí agus caomhnóirí le chéile le páistí óga idir 0-4 bliana d’aois le sult a bhaint as ealaín agus cultúr! Gach seachtain cuirfear gníomhaíocht éagsúil sultmhar ar fáil, éascaithe ag ealaíontóirí proifisiúnta, chomh maith le spásanna léitheoireachta agus ealaíne. Tosaíonn seisiúin Dé Máirt 25 Meán Fómhair 2018 agus maireann na seisiúin 5 seachtaine. Fáilte roimh gach leibhéal Gaeilge.
Tuesday mornings from 10am-12pm, the Cultúrlann Gerard Dillon Gallery welcomes all parents and carers with their little ones aged 0-4 for art and culture!
Each week a different fun and creative activity will be designed and delivered by professional artists, alongside reading and drawing areas. Sessions begin on Tuesday 25th September 2018 and continue for 5 weeks. All levels of Irish welcome.
Tuesday 25th Sept - Let's explore paint and colour
Using a variety of tools and materials children will have the opportunity to play and experiment with paint in all its forms. Dress for mess and lots of fun!
Tuesday 2nd Oct - Let's explore music and rhythm
This session will include the use of brightly coloured fabrics and musical instruments to create a very sensory experience for all.
Tuesday 9th Oct - Let's explore texture
A huge hit last time this session centres on children using every part of their body to explore as many textural experiences as we can pack in!
Tuesday 16th Oct - Let's explore rhyme & song
Parents and children will enjoy a variety of poems and songs from the much loved plura lura collection and lots more. All delivered with the help of some furry friends.
Tuesday 23rd Oct - Let's explore shape and colour
Final session will be a wonderful creative experience using edible shapes to create our colourful artworks to take home & treasure.
The range of interactive and creative experiences of Babaithe Cultúir supports young children’s creative expression, enabling them to try new things, and giving them the freedom to get as messy and as creative as they want, in a safe, fun and welcoming Irish language environment.
The activities behind Babaithe Cultúir will help to build very young children’s self-confidence, interpersonal and technical skills as well as offering a wonderful way to spend one-on-one time with your child.
Cost is £4 per child per session with discount of £2 for each additional child. All children must be accompanied by an adult and booking is required. Max 3 children per 1 adult
