Meetings are Wednesdays at the Duncairn Centre for Culture & Arts, from 3 - 5 p.m. during the summer (an hour earlier than usual).
We'll take the first two weeks of July off, and then keep up our gatherings through the rest of July and August, starting 17th July.
Write Club is a hub for the wide & wild talents of teenagers who want to work on their own writing projects. Usually it's run by author Kelly McCaughrain. Kelly will be taking July off; she's only exhausted after her debut novel Flying Tips for Flightless Birds won a bouquet of awards - including three from Children's Books Ireland
. We're super thankful for all the support Kelly gives every person who turns up at Write Club - here's the Emo Emu one of the clubbers made for Kelly to prove it. Pick up her novel if you're in need of a summer read - it's a winner for a reason. And head over to Write Club, whether you're a regular or just curious. There will be plenty of other dedicated FWB volunteers at the Duncairn to hear what you're working on and help you start your next project.
