Adam is OK to share his story - really it's alright - it's OK that his life was turned upside down - and the social workers were nice, kinda - and the foster homes, well... and his baby brother Joe?

Adam’s story is fictional. It is not the story of any one individual person, but rather an amalgam of the many various stories heard; some sad, some funny, some terrifying, all very real and very important.

Removed is a collaboration between award-winning Prime Cut Productions, writer Fionnuala Kennedy and VOYPIC (Voice Of Young People In Care), working with looked after young people across Northern Ireland, learning from them and exploring their experiences, and has been developed through Prime Cut’s Participate and Innovate Programmes and is supported by Creative Europe as part of the EU Collective Plays Project.
