DO AS I SAY is a physical dance performance that explores the issues of bullying and authority.
Through abstract choreography and concrete stories, the audience is taken through an emotional and thought-provoking journey. The performance is interactive, with both the audience and dancers hearing instructions from a recorded voice, but who is actually in charge?
Do as I Say takes the audience on an emotional and thought-provoking journey looking at how group pressure can affect us, asking who is the authority, why do we all do as they say, and what happens if we refuse to follow their orders?
Note: This performance raises challenging and sensitive issues around bullying and mental health, we will provide signposts to resources after the show to support continued discussion with your friends and family.
