Speaking about the recent ISLAND Arts Centre Children's Arts Festival, Siobhan McCormick, Arts Service Manager, Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council Arts Service said
“We were very pleased with collaborative approach that Young at Art Events brought to the delivery of the Council’s 18th Children’s Art Festival, which produced a high quality, creative and energetic experience for all of our participants.
The artists and facilitators appointed by Young at Art Events were all excellent and responded extremely well to our brief for the Festival to be based on the 200th birthday of Lisburn’s famous humanitarian and art collector, Sir Richard Wallace. This was apparent in all of the creative outcomes and in their commitment to making the experience a very positive one for all children. This was evident each day as all left with a smile on their face and a ‘Certificate of Participation’ in hand!
In addition, throughout the planning process there was an emphasis on clear communication, attention to detail and strong project management, which meant that budgets and deadlines were consistently met and every member of the team was a pleasure to work with.”
Referring to Christmas festive activities, Ursula Henderson, PR Manager, Translink said
“The team at Young at Art responded quickly to our requirements for creative and engaging seasonal activities that would make bus and train journeys more fun and memorable for our customers. They were able to deliver activities right across our network and support our overall commercial messaging during these busy travel periods, ultimately resulting in high passenger numbers and positive social media sentiment boosting our corporate reputation. "
Thank you for all the fantastic facilitators you and Alice sent our way over the entire project. They contributed immeasurably to the success. If it hadn't been for Christina and Jazzmin coming on Sunday as a last minute booking we would have been sunk. Every single one of the facilitators you provided were excellent and I cannot thank you all enough for making this happen. The make-up artists on Sunday were brilliant. I don't want to leave anyone out, so please if there's some way you can thank them all will you make sure they know how much they added to our festival.
Looking forward to continued collaborative working with YAAE.'

'First of all on behalf of the LYL team just want to say a MASSIVE thank-you to you, Anne and Anne-Marie for working, helping and supporting LYL over the last few weeks leading up to and on the day of the Wake the Giant festival.
We thoroughly enjoyed learning to make so many of the costumes and props with the willow and definitely all learned a new skill with this. Everything from the banner, to the bee hats and stripes, the wings, shellfish, wildflowers was fantastic. I am blown away myself about the amount of talent we have in the LYL group. The girls put so much effort into the costumes and the end result was just amazing with what they achieved. We received fantastic feedback from the folks /public who went to the event all so complimentary about the amazing costumes!!!
You and Anne got us up and running and supported us along the way throughout You gave us the confidence to keep going and provided great feedback and advice on setting realistic goals and nothing seemed to be a problem or issue for you anytime I called or we had a question for you. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! '

'The event was a massive success and we were delighted with the professionalism of all who invested in it. We had some super comments back from our customers and I have no doubt we will work with Young at Art Events in the very near future.'

'This is just to reiterate what a brilliant introduction to Campbell the Nearly True Tour afforded my son (Theo) and I last Saturday afternoon. I had expected a (no doubt enjoyable but pretty standard) tour of the buildings accompanied by a straightforward account of C S Lewis’s time there and the influence the College had on his writing. Nearly True Tours did indeed provide this information but with such imagination, humour and aplomb, it felt at times that we had actually been transported into some magical otherworld! It was a hugely entertaining and superbly executed experience. Please pass on my thanks to all concerned for this original interactive event – the finale in the dining hall was inspired, and the hospitality much appreciated. Congratulations to the College also for taking such an innovative approach to introducing potential future students to the school. '

“Young at Art Events provided a craft workshop for a large family event we held during the summer and the results were excellent. We found the company to be professional and easy to deal with. The event staff on the day interacted superbly with the public. The workshop that was provided was mask making and the children loved it! I would highly recommend Young at Art Events.”

"Meadows Shopping Centre has used Young at Art Events for several years with a number of differing events. They are a wonderful team and always carry out a professional and courteous service. Their invention, eye for the unusual and willingness to work with the Centre's marketing programme is exceptional. We can't recommend them too highly!"
Adrian Farrell from Meadows Shopping Centre, Portadown
"I had the opportunity to work with Young at Art Events this year. We look after the branding for Ulster Bank at the Balmoral Show and as part of the remit we book entertainment for children within their customer marquee. I worked with the team at Young at Art and we used several workshops that fitted with the event from potato bag printing to Farm animal masks and puppets. The staff and team were professional and efficient throughout and most of all there was lots of happy children with a take home from the event. Client extremely pleased."
David McGrath from Walker Communications
"Young at Art Events created a wonderful, magical event ‘Where’s Santa’. This original piece of work, unique to Bangor was created in a very short space of time without any compromise to the quality of the performance. It was professionally researched and devised in collaboration with participating traders. The event was sold out over the 3 week period that it ran and I would deem it a huge success."
