From the 19th – 22nd April, Young at Art will be at Belfast City Hall with a fantastic range of Easter events.
Join us on one of our hilarious Nearly True Tours, where hysterical fiction meets historical fact and you meet many characters along the way, who will illustrate the history of the space and bring City Hall to life.
The Butterfly and the Caterpillar will be delighting audiences on the 21st April as they learn about friendship and being an individual in this magical musical show.
Our newly designed Spring Flower Workshops will also be giving children and young people the chance to create a beautiful hand-made flower to give to someone special on the 21st and 22nd April from 12noon -5pm. Pick your favourite colours and our team of creative spring florists will help you shape paper blooms from a choice of four designs.
On Sunday 20th April, Young at Art will be heading to the Giant’s Causeway Visitor Centre for more Spring fun. Come and get into the Easter spirit from 11am-4pm and make your very own bunny, chick or lamb animal mask.
Young at Art will then be heading to The Spielgeltent, Guildhall Square, Derry-Londonderry from 23rd-24th April for more fun and frolics. Families can enjoy Tea and Tales here on the 23rd April, 11am-3pm . Children and parents can choose to listen to stories being read from the best of contemporary children’s fiction by one of our skilled storytellers or simply relax together on our comfy beanbags and enjoy the range of books.
Get creative with our Celtic Art Workshop on 24th April where children can make their very own Celtic themed masks and puppets and use to participate in the Parade of Nations on Friday evening as part of the Pan Celtic Festival 2014.
