The Belfast Children's Festival is an annual international festival for children aged 0-17 years and their accompanying adults. Events take place both in and out of school time for schools, groups and families to attend.

Little did we know that when the ‘curtain fell’ on BCF20 that it would be the last major event in the city of Belfast before Covid-19 closed down schools, theatres and shops and sent us all home and online!

What a year 2020 was! We all had to quickly learn to work differently, and we continue to do so.

BCF21 will be a little different this year, but one thing remains constant: it is jam-packed with exceptional creative experiences for children, young people and the adults in their lives. And this year that is vital, as we believe arts & creativity is needed more now than ever before.

Although this year we will come together and play a little differently you can trust us to still bring you the very best performances, interactive events, and exhibitions.

So whether you are a young person, or just a person who’s young at heart, come and play in a new way!

See you online!
