For Craft Month this August, Young at Art is excited to welcome FAB LAB NI to the Office of Important Art.

FAB LAB Belfast is a space where you can make (Almost) anything!

On 2 August between 10am and 4pm you can see demonstrations of the digital revolution in practice at The Office of Important Art in the heart of the CastleCourt Shopping Centre.

Be part of it!.  People are invited to drop in to the ‘pop up’ FabLab to see demonstrations of the digital fabrication revolution in action and have a chance to use design software and computer controlled machines such as 3D printers and laser cutters to make their ideas a reality.

There will be structured activities and demonstrations throughout the day with opportunities to get hands on and start making.  This is suitable for anyone of any age and any experience even those who are afraid of computers.

Venue: The office of Important Art , CastleCourt, Royal Avenue, Belfast BT1 1DD

Date & Time: 2 August (10am to 4pm)

Admission: FREE, no booking required, suitable for all ages.
