YAA Collective

Young at Art are looking for the next YAA Collective! Are you a young person in p4, p5, or p6, who loves drama, art, dance, music, and all things creative? Then the YAA Collective could be just what you are looking for! Have a look at what our very first YAA Collective got up to over the last year…

The Young at Art (YAA) Collective is a year-long programme of direct creative engagement with a variety of artistic mediums. The YAA Collective will have access to a diverse range of creative workshops, cultural visits, facilitated discussion and ‘ideas tank’ sessions. Through these sessions we want to empower the voice of the child and place it at the centre of everything we do at Young at Art.

The YAA Collected is FREE to join, but spaces are limited to 15 participants. Involvement in the collective will require commitment to the programme, and consistent attendance at sessions, and signing up to the Collective Code of Conduct, which we will co-design together.

Applications are open now for children in p4, p5, and p6, who would like to join the YAA Collective! This term will run from March 2023 – March 2024, meeting twice a month (with a break in July and August) for the whole year. Our first session will take place on Sunday 11th March with a very exciting visit to the Belfast Children’s Festival!
