Young at Art currently fundraise over half a million pounds each year to ensure that as many young people in Northern Ireland can have access to the arts as possible. Some of this money is publicly funded and therefore are not secure from one year to the next.

This means that we are reliant on additional support from our audiences and the local business community in order to be able to continue to do what we do best - deliver a varied programme of high quality arts events for children and young people all year –round and delivering an annual international festival.

Your donations feed directly into the producing budget for our international festival and the extensive education & outreach programme that supports it.

Every little helps

  • £1 – if every person who bought a ticket to the Belfast Children’s festival donated a pound we could fund the entire festival education programme.
  • £25 – would fund a teacher resource pack for schools.
  • £150 – could pay for a creative workshop with children from deprived and disadvantaged backgrounds.
  • £250 – would buy 50 t-shirts for volunteers.
  • £400 – would allow us to run a free drop-in creative community playgroup morning with professional facilitator
  • £1,800 – would run a Food For Thought dinner for 60 people bringing families together to talk about contemporary issues over a healthy sit down meal.
  • £4,000 – would help host an international arts performance during the festival that children might not necessarily have had the opportunity to see.
