Belfast Print Workshop will take over the Office of Important Art in CastleCourt next week for a series of free workshops and exhibition by Screen-printer Leo Boyd.


Belfast Print Workshop will run a week long series of events (from Tuesday 19th – Saturday 23rd August) in Young at Art’s Office of Important Art in CastleCourt.

These events invite young people to come along and explore  the screen-printing and mono-printing process.

Workshop Schedule:

Tuesday 10-12: Screenprint Workshop with Leo Boyd (first 10 participants only - they will take away their very own screenprint)

Wednesday 12-2: Textile Screenprint workshop with Leo Boyd (we will supply Tshirts however the public are welcome to bring their own garments along too!)

Thursday 12-2: In conjunction with Culture Babies, we are going to have some potato printing (simple, easy and perfect for such a young audience)

Friday 12-2: Monoprinting onto paper lanterns (which participants may keep)

Saturday 12-2: Monoprinting onto paper lanterns (which participants may keep)

Leo Boyd's exhibition 'The Belfast That Time Forgot' will also be on display for the duration of the 5 days.

These are free events (however capacity to some workshops will be limited and spaces allocated on a first come first served basis).
