We are excited to have four current opportunities within our team: Creative Child Co-ordinator and Fighting Words Belfast Co-ordinator and two 6 month paid internships open to 18-24 yr olds: Events Coordinator and Marketing & Audience Development. All close Monday 16 Oct at 4pm.

We are currently recruiting for a Creative Child Coordinator (part-time - 26 hrs/week, £19000 pro rata). 

This role is to deliver and develop the Creative Child Programme, a creative engagement programme with children in nursery, primary and early years settings, their teachers and families.
 
The project currently engages with parents and teachers in 23 schools and playgroups across Belfast with the core aims of developing confidence, imagination and critical appraisal skills in children and their parents/carers.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for the project’s management and delivery under the supervision of the Education Officer.  Working closely with the Education Officer the post holder will  evolve benchmarks, manage outcomes and work towards long-term impact and learning.

Fighting Words Belfast are currently recruiting for a Coordinator (part-time - 22.5 hrs per week, £19208 pro rata).

Fighting Words Belfast is a creative writing centre for all children and young people in Northern Ireland aged 6-18.  The project arose out of a collective effort between Young at Art, Skainos in East Belfast, the 174 Trust in North Belfast and Fighting Words, Dublin. 

The post holder will be responsible for the administrative and operational needs of Fighting Words Belfast. S/He will co-ordinate an ambitious programme of activity including workshops for schools and community groups, after-schools clubs, outreach and special projects as well as the recruitment and training of volunteers.

Two six month paid internships: Marketing & Audience Development and Events Co-ordinator 

Supported by Creative & Cultural Skills NI programme, the posts are open to young people aged between 18-24 years old. Successful candidates will work 30 hours per week at a rate of £7.05 per hour.
