Join us after Amadan Ensemble’s Pink and Blue to discuss how modern versions of family and gender are represented and portrayed onstage in performance work for young audiences.  Hosted by Eilidh MacAskill and the discussion panel will include Gemma Mae Halligan from Amadan Ensemble, Steve Ball from Birmingham Rep and Producer of Penguins, and Ruth McCarthy Creative Director of Outburst.

Eilidh MacAskill is a live artist and theatre maker from Glasgow. She makes unique and entertaining works for both children and adults in a range of settings. Currently touring internationally with her show for under-5s, The Polar Bears Go Up, she has also been a research artist with Imaginate (Scotland) on the Gendersaurus Rex project, exploring gender and sexuality in Theatre for Young Audiences.
