What is a Global Footprint? Reduce, Reuse, Recycle?
We will think about the impact we have on our society, and explore what we can actively do to improve our environment and the world that we live in.
Participants will explore two themes each day:
Making Your Mark: Imagine a future that’s more environmentally conscious. You can be the architect of your own future!
Our space, Your space: Explore how our space creates the waste, plastic and pollution that impacts on the oceans and the creatures that live in the sea.
Let your imagination run free to help plan a better world for you and us all.
Each art camp will collaboratively create art pieces for the highly interactive Future Cities Exhibition. Participants will also create lots of individual pieces to take home.
Through play, imagination, applied arts & craft, and experimentation of materials, you will create and decorate the buildings of your imagined city. We will create sea animals from junk materials; the very same materials that often pollute our seas.
Participants can attend for 1 week or attend both weeks. Those that are taking part in both weeks will see the exhibition grow, with time to contemplate and develop their ideas and create more art pieces.
Art Camp activities include:
Parents have peace of mind, knowing that the Arts Camp brings together a range of energetic professional artists and performers who specialise in working with children and young people.Classes are grouped into small appropriate age bands and are individually tailored so that no two days are the same.
