Macramé, Digital Art & Nature: You are invited to hop on the ArtCart to create beautiful macramé inspired plant hangers complete with plant pot and seeds that you can take home to nurture and grow. With guidance from a WheelWorks visual artist you will use natural materials, plants and digital designs to craft your own green creation thus bringing the outdoors in to your home. Their macrame artist will introduce basic knotting techniques using recycled materials to get everyone producing their own unique designs. Their digital artist will use drawing apps to create digital designs that will enhance your creations. This workshop is especially created with young children in mind but we encourage all ages to get involved and have fun. There are 15 places over 3 x 45 minute workshops (1-1.45pm, 2-2.45pm & 3-3.45pm) so we recommend that participants sign up at the ArtCart on the day to ensure a place.
