Have you been working with children and young people through the arts? Do you have exciting and original work that you think the rest of the world should see?

More of it than we think is an exhibition of artwork by children and young people in groups and schools throughout Northern Ireland. The project has been running for over 5 years and will run again in the 2012 festival.

Criteria for selection

1.    Artwork must be created by children and young people aged 18 and under, however intergenerational work will be accepted.

2.    Each submission must have a thematic link, i.e. they can be individual or group pieces but they must have an overarching theme.

3.    Submissions can be audio, paint, print, photography, textile, sculpture, film, craft, animation but no live showcases can be considered.

4.    Young people, groups and artists can make the application but everyone involved must agree to it.

5.    Work must be available for the full festival period plus time to set it up and dismantle it.

A selection of the highest quality and most original will be displayed at venues throughout the Belfast Children’s Festival from 9 March – 16 March 2012.

The selected artwork will be seen by thousands of festival visitors and groups will be supported to attend the festival and see their work on display.
