On 16 February 2011 the Northern Ireland Executive will decide on government spending for the next four years. For the Belfast Children’s Festival and Young at Art, it has a big effect on what we can do for you and your family from now until 2015 and beyond. A small cut from our vital funding will have huge implications and could mean the difference between keeping open for business and closing our doors!

The Arts are facing a proposed £4.2 million budget cut. With inflation this represents a real terms reduction of 23%, and that will impact directly on frontline services: i.e. our artists and arts organisations.
