Community Ticket Scheme

Launching the scheme, 2006

The Community Ticket Scheme provides special access to the Belfast Children's Festival for children in communities which cannot or do not attend arts events and venues.

The Scheme has been running sinse 2006 with great sucess and will run again in the 2010 festival.

While extensive fundraising and promotion helps the festival to remain accessible, cost and familiarity still remain barriers for some communities.

To tackle this, Young at Art has been building relationships with a range of community-based organisations to create practical solutions to these barriers.

2010 Community Ticket Mornings

A series of Community Ticket mornings will take place in advance of the 2010 festival. Details of Community Ticket mornings are available on request, contact Young at Art to find out more information.

Community tickets can only be booked by individuals and families. If you are a group please phone Young at Art on 02890 230660 to get details of special rates and the new Friendship Fund.

If your community organisation would like to get involved in the scheme in 2010, please contact Young at Art.

Young at Art would be happy to supply brochures, posters and a member of staff to visit your group and talk about how to get involved in the festival. Please contact us if you would like more information or brochures delivered to your centre.
