Community Ticket Scheme

The Community Ticket Scheme provides special access to the Belfast Children's Festival for children in communities which cannot or do not attend arts events and venues. The Scheme has been running since 2006 with great success and was run again in the 2012 festival.

While extensive fundraising and promotion helps the festival to remain accessible, cost and familiarity still remain barriers for some communities.

To tackle this, Young at Art has been building relationships with a range of community-based organisations to create practical solutions to these barriers.

Community Ticket Mornings

A series of Community Ticket mornings take place in advance of each festival. Details of Community Ticket mornings are available on request, contact Young at Art to find out more information.

Young at Art would be happy to supply brochures, posters and a member of staff to visit your group and talk about how to get involved in the festival. Please contact us if you would like more information or brochures delivered to your centre.
