Welcome to Young at Art, Northern Ireland's leading arts provider for children and young people aged from 0 - 18 years. 

Young at Art is home to Northern Ireland's flagship international arts and cultural event for children, the Belfast Children's Festival (8-13 March 2019).

Young at Art engages with children and adults through a host of engagement programmes:

Creative Child - arts-based engagement programme working with nursery and primary school children, their teachers and parents.

Creative Writing: Fighting Words Belfast - a centre for creative writing, offering free workshops to schools and youth groups, plus weekly Write Club, and other special projects.

Visual Arts and Families - special artist-led engagement projects plus encouraging more families to experience visual arts. 

A social enterprise agency 'Young at Art Events', delivers unique and unforgettable theatre and arts events to children and families, with an extensive events portfolio, including arts workshopsBaby RaveCulture Babies, and much, much more. In fact Baby Rave was developed by Young at Art in 2005 for its own international festival. Since then it has appeared regularly in Northern Ireland with a growing presence internationally. We can also create bespoke events and undertake commissions for a range of activities from education programmes to large public events like the 2012 Land of Giants spectacular. 

In addition, Young at Art offers professional trainingspecial ticketing schemes for schools and youth groups, resources, and support for developing theatre for young audiences.
